Arvada has grown into one of the deeper trivia markets in the northwest Denver suburbs, with 16 active venues and a Tuesday concentration that borders on overwhelming. Nine games run that night alone. Geeks Who Drink has the largest company footprint at six venues, including The Grandview Tavern on Grandview, The Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge and LUKI Brewery out in the Candelas area, Arvada Beer Garden on 58th, and Denver Beer Co. in Olde Town for a late 8 PM Thursday game. Denver Trivia League runs Olde Town Social on Yukon and This is a Clue handles Colorado Tap House on West 69th for the Monday opener. That Tuesday slate is where the real crowding happens. Freedom Street Social up in Candelas, Hopper's Sports Grill just over the line in Wheat Ridge, Malone's Clubhouse on West 64th, Bout Time Pub on West 80th, and two Parry's Pizzeria locations (one in Arvada, one in Northglenn) all fire up between 6:30 and 7:30, joined by the Geeks venues. Thursday is the second-busiest with four options, including Scully's Cafe over in Golden at 6, Olde Town Tavern on Ralston, and SomePlace Else Brewery on West 52nd. Wednesday quiets down to a pair. The Olde Town district around Wadsworth and Yukon is the closest thing to a center here, but the venues stretch from Candelas in the far northwest down toward Wheat Ridge, so most of Arvada has a game within a short drive. The trouble is timing, not supply. If you can't make Tuesday, your choices thin out fast.
