Boise's trivia grew up alongside the city's craft beer boom, and the two are pretty much inseparable now. There are 40 active venues stretching from downtown and the North End out to Garden City, Meridian, and the south side. The Treasure Valley has built a circuit far bigger than its population would suggest, and one company sits right at the center of it. Game Night Live runs 12 venues, the backbone of organized trivia here. Their reach covers the city end to end. 10 Barrel Brewing on West Bannock and Highlands Hollow Brewhouse in the North End go Mondays. A cluster of Tuesday venues includes The Warehouse Food Hall, Quinn's Restaurant, 3 Wood Pizza, Taphouse Pub downtown, and Voodoo Brewing out in Meridian. Wednesdays bring White Dog Brewing, Barbarian Brewing in Garden City, and Black Moon Pastries on Chinden. They even program weekend trivia, with Eureka! and Sam's Smokehouse holding Sunday sessions. Last Call Trivia has two venues at both Lost Grove Brewing locations (Hyde Park on Tuesdays, the La Pointe taproom on Thursdays), and Geeks Who Drink holds a single Wednesday night at Boise Brewing Taproom on West Broad. The independent side is about 25 venues and brings a lot of variety. Downtown's Broad Street has turned into a de facto trivia row, with Hap Hap Lounge, Boise Fry Company, and Mad Swede Brew Hall all within a few blocks. Meridian has its own mini-circuit at Eight Thirty Common, Heritage Hop Haus, and Idaho Pups & Ales. Breweries dominate the independents too. Mother Earth Brew Co., Mad Swede Brewing, Sockeye Grill & Brewery, and Meriwether Cider House all run their own quiz nights. Tuesday and Wednesday are busiest, each with roughly 10 options. Sunday trivia gets an unusual three-venue showing for a city this size, and Voodoo Cellar holds a late Monday option at 9 PM downtown for the night owls.
