Thursday Night Trivia in Brooklyn

Four themed rounds of seven questions each (themed image, audio, regular, and a “throwback” round). Teams can double the points for one round. Hosted by Tommy Eyebrows at a brisk pace, the night typically ends by 20:30. The atmosphere is old-fashioned and intimate, with banter between bartenders and regular teams. Raffle tickets are offered for a mystery prize. Questions span easy to hard, and there’s a four-person team limit. The venue is small, with beers on tap, and outside food is allowed.

Format: Four themed rounds of ten questions each, including one entirely music round (name the song & artist). The host offers double points on one round per team’s choice. Top-scoring team each round gets shots; if two teams tie they each tell a joke as a tiebreaker judged by the audience. Prizes: Winner receives a $50 bar tab (no second place), plus shots for the highest-scoring team each round. Questions are fair but challenging, with occasional headscratchers.
