Charlotte's trivia scene has exploded alongside the city's brewery boom. 67 active venues spread across NoDa, Plaza Midwood, South End, and Uptown, with craft taprooms making up a huge share of the lineup. Mindless Minutia Trivia is the dominant local company, hosting at 14 venues across the metro. Their footprint covers some of Charlotte's best-known breweries including NoDa Brewing Company, Birdsong Brewing on North Davidson, HopFly Brewing in South End, and Hi-Wire Brewing's Charlotte taproom, along with neighborhood spots like Two Buck Saloon, Steamers Sports Pub, Seaboard Southend, and The Daily downtown. They even run an early-evening game at The Local on North Church Street starting at 5:30 PM. Beyond Mindless Minutia, a few smaller companies have footholds: Thinkin' & Drinkin' Trivia hosts at Lost Worlds Brewing Midtown, Pub Trivia Nerds at Moo & Brew on Central Ave, and Top Shelf Trivia at Piedmont Social House in Ayrsley. But the independents outnumber the hosted venues by a wide margin. Plaza Midwood is the densest trivia corridor. Tuesday is the biggest night overall, with Thursday and Wednesday close behind, and you can find games every day of the week including Sunday evening at Rí Rá Irish Pub downtown.
