The Old Goat Tavern and The Library Kitchen & Taphouse both sit out that way, joined Wednesday by Waldo's Campus Tavern near Western Michigan. Wednesday is the peak, with The Old Goat, Waldo's, and LFG Gaming Bar downtown all running at 7, plus Shakespeare's Pub at 8. Tuesday brings Revel & Roll West on Stadium Drive at 7 and Shakespeare's again at 7, the one venue here pulling a two-night week. Company hosts are thin on the ground. LFG runs Top Shelf Trivia and Shakespeare's runs Best Trivia Ever, but the other four games are independent, which gives the city a homemade feel. The Library opens its week solo on Monday at 8, the only game that night. Downtown and the Michigan Avenue corridor hold most of it together, with the campus end near Waldo's pulling the student crowd midweek.
