No corporate host, no franchise format, just a bar with a microphone and a stack of questions. Crybaby Trivia Company runs three venues: 4 Hands Brewing on South 8th Street and Jack Nolen's on South 9th, both in the Soulard-adjacent brewery corridor, plus a Thursday afternoon session at Boathouse at Forest Park. That's a 4 PM start time, either genius or madness depending on your schedule. Super Trivial STL hosts at Beffa's on Olive Street in Midtown, and Geeks Who Drink has a single outpost at City Park Grill on Morgan Ford Road in Tower Grove South. The independent rooms define the experience. Soulard holds down the east side with Big Daddy's on Monday and International Tap House on Tuesday. The Grove corridor along Manchester Avenue contributes HandleBar on Thursdays and Nick's Pub with a late 8:30 PM Monday start. Over in Dogtown, Felix's Pizza Pub does Tuesdays. The Heavy Anchor on Gravois covers Bevo Mill on Wednesdays. Pieces Board Game Bar on South 12th pairs trivia with tabletop gaming. Wildflower Saloon on Laclede in the Central West End is one of the few spots running two nights, Monday and Thursday, both at 7:30 PM. Thursdays are the busiest night overall with seven venues competing. But Wednesdays and Mondays aren't far behind, which gives the city solid options across most of the week.
