Syracuse has one of the deepest mid-size trivia scenes in upstate New York. About 60 active venues running from Tipperary Hill and the Inner Harbor out through Liverpool, North Syracuse, East Syracuse, Fayetteville, and Baldwinsville. Syracuse Trivia Company runs roughly half the calendar and has become the de facto operator for Salt City pub trivia, hosting at Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub on Tipperary Hill, Shaughnessy's, Maxwells, Bullfinch Brewpub, PressRoom Pub, Margaritas Mexican Cantina, Meier's Creek at the Inner Harbor, and the Syracuse Polish Home, among others. The supporting cast keeps the rest of the week full: Classy Cat Entertainment at Middle Ages Brewing and Lock 1 Distilling, Orange Trivia Company at Talking Cursive and Prison City's North Street, plus DJ Trivia, Triviocity, GoBiggerTime, CNY SpeedQuizzing, and Stage Time Trivia at the Aloft Inner Harbor. Wednesday is by far the biggest night, with close to twenty venues going at once. Aurora Brewing on Tipp Hill, Bullfinch, Bull and Bear Roadhouse, and Heritage Hill North on Syracuse Trivia Company, alongside Triviocity at San Miguel and Red Rooster, DJ Trivia at Wayside Irish, and Orange Trivia at the Ukrainian National Home. Thursday is the second-heaviest, holding down Wolff's Biergarten, Tanner Valley Golf Course, The Inn Complete near SU, and McGraw Box Brewing. Tuesday's headliner is Coleman's on Tipp Hill, Monday spreads across the most companies, and Sunday closes out the week at Nibsy's Pub and The Evergreen. Friday holds just one show, Classy Cat at The SingleCut Barn, but the rest of the week is full enough that nobody seems to notice.
