2 trivia venues are available in Tucson, AZ
Tucson's trivia scene has a gratifying weirdness to it. Five different companies and a handful of independents compete across 17 venues, with formats ranging from traditional pub quiz to speed-round digital play. It's the kind of lineup you'd expect from a city that's always been a little left of center. Geeks Who Drink has the strongest company footprint with four venues. Corbett's and Barrio Brewing Co. on Tuesdays, both clustered near the university on the 4th Avenue and 16th Street corridors, plus Craft, a Modern Drinkery and The Canyon's Crown on Thursdays. That last one is way out on East Tanque Verde Road with an 8 PM start. Jeopardy Bar League (no affiliation with the TV show, presumably) runs Hotel Congress on East Congress Street and Snakes & Lattes on East University. Snakes is one of the few venues in any city that runs two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday. CMC Entertainment hosts at Borderlands Brewing in Sam Hughes and Motosonora Brewing on South Park, the latter one of Tucson's few Sunday options. Team Trivia runs BlackRock Brewers on the east side, and SpeedQuizzing brings its phone-based format to Casa Film Bar on East Speedway for Monday nights. The independents fill in the gaps. Bawker Bawker Cider House on North 4th Avenue and Tap & Bottle just down the block give the 4th Avenue district a pair of walkable options. Mission Motor Collective on West Grant adds a Wednesday, and Short Rest Tavern on North Oracle does a Friday 8 PM quiz, one of the week's few weekend options. The 4th Avenue and 6th Avenue corridors near the University of Arizona are the densest trivia zone, and Wednesday is the busiest night overall at six-plus venues.
