They reach into the city proper too, with Cahaba Brewing Company over in the Avondale-adjacent warehouse district on 5th Avenue South. The real character of Birmingham trivia, though, lives in the independent rooms. Mom's Basement in Avondale runs a Monday night that's basically a neighborhood institution at this point. Monday Night Brewing's Social Club on 12th Street South brings an Atlanta-born brand to Birmingham's growing Parkside district.
