Bloomington Pub Quiz is the dominant local operation, running six of the city's 12 venues. They've got Monday locked down with three simultaneous games: Big Woods on North Grant, Hoosier Bar & Grill out on West Richland Plaza, and The Back Door on South College starting later at 8:30. Wednesday brings Cardinal Spirits on South Morton at 6:30 and Lennie's Brewpub on East Kirkwood at 8:30, and Friendly Beasts Cider Company on West 2nd fills their Thursday slot. Challenge Entertainment provides the second organized presence with three rooms: Tap Bloomington on North College for Tuesdays, BuffaLouie's at The Gables right on Indiana Avenue for Thursdays, and O'Charley's on Jacob Drive also on Thursday. Trivia with a Twist adds The Orbit Room on North College each Tuesday at 6:30. The Kirkwood Avenue and College Avenue corridors are where the action concentrates. You can practically walk between half these venues in ten minutes. Poindexter on East Kirkwood hosts an independent Wednesday game, and The Vault Pub on East 7th starts late on Thursdays at 8:30 for the crowd that doesn't mind a school night. Thursday is the biggest night overall with four options, though Monday's three-way Bloomington Pub Quiz split gives it a run for its money.
